Job summary

Prairie Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking dynamic Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to residents in a supportive Extended Care setting.

You will lead nursing assistants, handle medication administration, and document care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and excellence in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of Illinois.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and maintain professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of nursing assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete resident admission, discharge, and transfer documentation per policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Conduct daily rounds and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

RN Requirements:

• Active Nursing License as required by the state
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Compliant with state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements
• Ability to positively relate to residents and visitors
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, able to handle stress, and maintain professionalism
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable
