Job summary

Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD clients, seeks an Information Assurance Analyst to join the Information Systems Security Engineering team in Charleston, SC. You will assist in RMF A&A services and perform cybersecurity risk assessments on Naval software systems.

You will conduct vulnerability scans, STIG/SRG evaluations, and support ATO packages while mentoring teammates in security workflows and SOP development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related IT field.
• DoD 8570 Certification or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience or 2+ years in a DoD IA role with a related degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform RMF A&A analysis, design, and test secure systems per RMF and NIST guidelines.
• Evaluate security policies, ensuring DISA/IS lifecycle requirements are met.
• Conduct vulnerability scans with ACAS/Nessus and report findings.
• Develop actionable POA&Ms and track remediation in Jira.
• Support ATO packages and ASR events with STIG/SRG checks.
• Evaluate new hardware and cloud security baselines for SRGs and STIGs.
