Job summary

Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company supporting DoD customers, seeks an Information Assurance Analyst Intern to join the ISSE team to help perform RMF A&A services by conducting cybersecurity and risk assessments on Naval software systems.

You will analyze and evaluate secure systems, collaborate with engineers to remediate vulnerabilities, and assist in documenting policies, plans, and test procedures while pursuing an IA or cybersecurity degree.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• DoD 8140/8570 certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Pursuing an Information Assurance or Cybersecurity degree.
• Experience with security engineering concepts and modern networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate to design, implement, test and field secure systems and architectures.
• Evaluate security policies to ensure requirements are met across the IS lifecycle.
• Perform vulnerability scans and policy updates using security tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to remediate vulnerabilities and develop mitigations.
• Assist in RMF/DoD/NIST policy certification and testing.
