Job summary

Saalex is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (RMF) in Newport, RI to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport. The role focuses on Assessment and Authorization activities to maintain ATOs for enterprise and RDT&E systems.

The position requires a minimum of two years of cybersecurity experience, RMF package development, and DoD 8570/8140 IAM/IAT Level II certification. Active Secret clearance is required and onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting RMF and A&A activities.
• Experience developing RMF packages and security artifacts.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF controls and DoD cybersecurity guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support A&A activities to maintain ATOs in RMF.
• Assist in cybersecurity compliance and continuous monitoring.
• Develop RMF package documentation (SPs, RA, POA&Ms).
• Perform security control assessments per NIST/NAVY guidance.
• Use eMASS/ACAS/STIG tools to assess and document compliance.
