Job summary

Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving DoD customers, seeks an Information Assurance Analyst to join the ISSE team to perform RMF A&A tasks and cyber risk assessments. The role focuses on evaluating security controls, conducting vulnerability scanning, and supporting ATO packages in Navy-related environments.

The candidate will work with DISA STIGs, ACAS/Nessus, eMASS, and lab validations, coordinating with engineers to mitigate risks and document POA&M actions across multiple enclaves.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• 2+ years in an IA/cybersecurity role within DoD environments with a Bachelor's degree.
• Active DoD Secret level Clearance (or higher).
• DoD 8140/8570 Certification to qualify as IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Experience executing STIG/SRG test plans across complex baselines.

Responsibilities

• Perform RMF-based analysis and evaluation to design and secure systems and networks.
• Evaluate information system security policies and DISA mandates across the IS lifecycle.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and compliance reporting using ACAS/Nessus and Evaluate STIG.
• Collaborate with engineers to remediate vulnerabilities and document POAM actions.
• Support ATO packages and ASR events by evaluating STIG checks and SRGs.
