Job summary

New Directions Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) – RMF to manage RMF processes and build eMASS packages. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance, with on-site work only.

Responsibilities include RMF package creation, supporting ACAS/SCAP, STIGs, SRR, and VRAM, and evaluating IA controls to prepare POAMs. Knowledge of A&A activities and DoD 8510.01/8500.2 is essential.

Qualifications

• U.S citizenship is required for the role.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance for the duration.
• Experience with RMF and DoD IA controls is essential.
• Certification in Security+ or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for IT hardening and creating RMF packages in eMASS.
• Support ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker, DISA STIGS, SRR and VRAM.
• Evaluate IA Controls and produce Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM).
• Facilitate Pre-certification, Certification, and Accreditation activities.
