Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team on-site in Norfolk, Virginia, supporting the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program.

Responsibilities include security assessments, design of secure architectures, and RMF/DIACAP compliance, with experience in eMass and DISA ACAS; teamwork across multi-enclave environments and government standards are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of IS experience (or alternative education/experience path).
• Experience identifying and analyzing systems requirements.
• Experience developing and maintaining system applications and security.
• Experience providing user support and guidance.
• Experience recommending security upgrades and patches for installed equipment.
• Experience documenting and maintaining multiple systems.
• Experience with DIACAP and RMF; ACAS experience and DISA ACAS certification.
• Experience with eMass; CE/OS certifications (VMware, Linux, Windows 2022).

Responsibilities

• Perform or support security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation steps.
• Validate complex security requirements based on policy and user needs.
• Design and deploy security architectures to meet evolving customer needs.
• Develop and integrate security components for networking and multi-enclave environments.
• Assist in implementing security functionality across enterprise products and services.
• Review and update project documentation such as SSPs and A&C packages.
• Enforce RMF-based security authorization activities across Government standards.
