Job summary

Sigma Defense at March Air Reserve Base seeks an Information System Security Officer to help sustain the cybersecurity posture of secure DoD information systems through RMF activities and continuous monitoring.

The ISSO will maintain RMF documentation and artifacts, support A&A, and ensure secure baselines while coordinating with IS and network teams. U.S. citizenship required; active TS/SCI or higher preferred, sponsorship possible.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in information security.
• Information assurance / RMF experience required.
• Experience with NIST SP 800-53 controls and STIGs.
• Experience supporting vulnerability management and A&A activities.
• RMF documentation and security artifacts maintenance.
• Familiarity with ACAS, STIG Viewer, SCAP tools.
• Understanding CUI requirements and DoD environment handling.
• U.S. citizen; active clearance or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform RMF activities and continuous monitoring for DoD systems.
• Support A&A activities and maintain RMF documentation.
• Coordinate with ISSMs, system admins, and network engineers.
• Prepare cybersecurity reports and status updates for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity procedures and SOPs.
