Job summary

JFL Consulting is seeking a skilled Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support cybersecurity, RMF, and system authorization across secure government environments. This role focuses on maintaining the security posture, supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) and continuous monitoring across assigned information systems.

Qualifications

• Active DoD RMF/ATO experience required.
• Hands-on RMF, SCA, NIST SP 800-53 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF/ATO for DoD networks and prepare RMF packages.
• Maintain system security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, SCTMs).
• Monitor vulnerabilities, perform remediation, and support ConMon.
• Coordinate with ISSMs, engineers, and program leadership on security risks and remediation.
• Prepare clear cybersecurity status reports and documentation.
