Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD cybersecurity operations, RMF, A&A, and risk management. You will collaborate with the ISSM and technical teams to maintain the security posture of mission-critical information systems and support ATO processes.

You will apply your RMF and vulnerability management expertise to ensure systems meet federal DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly is required.
• IAT Level II and A+ CE certifications.
• Experience with RMF, A&A, and DoD security controls.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments using ACAS/Nessus and STIGs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey technical information.

Responsibilities

• Support the ISSM in maintaining the operational cybersecurity posture of assigned information systems, programs, and enclaves.
• Provide cybersecurity oversight and support for A&A activities in accordance with RMF and DoD requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain SSPs, security authorization packages, and documentation for Authorities to Operate (ATO).
• Review authorization packages for completeness, CCIs, SCA-V results, STIGs, POA&Ms, and cybersecurity strategies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS/Nessus and other approved tools; recommend remediation.
• Maintain configuration management records for security software, hardware, firmware, servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.
• Coordinate security patches, system upgrades, and configuration changes to maintain security and compliance.
• Develop cybersecurity documentation including system architecture, data flows, PPSM records, and risk assessments.
• Evaluate environments to identify cybersecurity risks and assess accreditation boundaries.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and SOPs.
• Track and report security statuses, vulnerabilities, and remediation progress.
• Communicate technical cybersecurity findings to diverse audiences.
