Job summary
Leidos is seeking a Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) Engineer to support the FAA ERAM program from the Gaithersburg, MD area. The hybrid role requires in-office presence about 2.5 days per week to help advance system reliability and availability for NAS operations.
The qualified candidate will develop RMA requirements, perform system-level analysis, and support design reviews, test plans, and corrective actions across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Experience applying systems engineering principles across the lifecycle.
- Ability to analyze technical data, identify trends and communicate findings.
- Strong written and verbal communication for engineering documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RMA requirements and specifications throughout the lifecycle.
- Perform system-level RMA modeling and performance predictions.
- Support system reviews with RMA assessments and recommendations.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and evaluations for RMA compliance.
- Analyze failures, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
- Evaluate field performance and reliability growth initiatives.
- Assess maintenance data to identify improvements in reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate RMA considerations.
