Qualifications
- Must be knowledgeable of potential medication reactions and monitor residents for such reactions.
- Must communicate to residents the purpose, effects and side effects of medications.
- Assist in admission, transfer and discharge of residents.
- Meet with interdepartmental team as scheduled to discuss residents' needs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Report emergencies to clinicians promptly.
- Explain medication purpose and side effects to residents and address concerns.
- Assist in admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
- Measure vital signs and document results.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
