Job summary

The Hamilton Assisted Living in Virginia seeks a Registered Medication Assistant (RMA) who is certified as an RMA and a CNA in Virginia. This full-time role runs 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM with an hourly range of $18.50–$21.00 and daily pay options.

Responsibilities include safe medication administration and supporting daily resident care in a compassionate setting. The position requires a valid Medication Technician/Aide Certification and CNA or CHHA/HHA as applicable, with experience in oral, topical,

Qualifications

• Must hold Virginia Medication Technician/Aide Certification.
• Must also be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CHHA/HHA as required.
• Previous CMA experience preferred.
• Experience administering oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous meds.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents safely and accurately per orders and policies.
• Provide medications via oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous routes where permitted.
• Observe residents for responses and report changes or adverse reactions.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed nursing staff.
• Ensure meds are stored, secured, and documented properly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and related care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to promote resident-centered care.
