Job summary

Thunderbolt Solutions is seeking an RMA Engineer to support RM&A data collection and analysis for US Navy programs, including land-based and shipboard testing. The role emphasizes data integrity, reporting, and collaboration across engineering and program teams. The ideal candidate has a B.S.

in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, familiarity with AWS and ORTS, and the ability to travel 20–30% aboard ships. A DoD Secret clearance is preferred or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Background in AWS and ORTS programs.
• Must possess or be eligible for DoD Secret clearance.
• Travel 20–30% and work aboard U.S. Navy ships.

Responsibilities

• Support RMA data collection for land-based and shipboard testing using SOPs.
• Coordinate Data Scoring Boards and participate in data analysis Working Groups.
• Review ship/system concepts and deliverables; assess design reliability.
• Develop daily/quick-look/final RM&A reports and SITREP as required.
• Lead presentations and participate in Working Groups; communicate with military and civilian personnel.
• Travel to land-based test sites and shipboard underway when required.
