Job summary

Thunderbolt Solutions is seeking a Maintainability Engineer to lead RM&A data collection and analysis for AWS and ORTS programs on U.S. Navy warships. The role includes pre-event fault list development, coordination with ISEAs, and reporting progress to the program office.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, has AWS/ORTS experience, and can travel 20–30% to land-based sites and ships. A DoD Secret clearance or eligibility is required, with strong MS Office and data analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• Background with AWS and ORTS programs.
• DoD Secret clearance eligibility or active clearance.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% and visit Navy ships.
• Strong MS Office skills and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Support RM&A data collection and analyze faults for AWS/ORTS programs.
• Coordinate data scoring boards and participate in data analysis working groups.
• Develop and deliver daily, quick-look, and final RM&A reports and SITREPs.
• Prepare data for Power BI dashboards and AI implementation.
• Lead presentations and collaborate with Navy and industry partners.
