Job summary

City of Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation is seeking a Maintenance – Seasonal (Riverfront) role in Fort Wayne, IN to perform janitorial, groundskeeping, and basic facility upkeep along the Riverfront.

This position offers 15–30 hours per week with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have three years of high school completed, and hold a valid Indiana driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with three years of high school completed.
• Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid Indiana Driver's License as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings, restrooms, grounds, and assigned areas
• Remove litter, debris, trash, and graffiti
• Assist trades crews and operate equipment safely
• Maintain work-related reports and records
• Follow safety policies and guidelines
• Drive one-ton or small utility trucks as needed
