Eagle Creek Renewable Energy in New Hampshire is seeking a Hydro Plant Technician to support daily plant operations and water intake systems, ensuring reliability and safety. You will start and stop units, perform inspections, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining logs and procedures.

This role requires a safety-first mindset, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in industrial settings.

Formación

• Two or more years of experience in a power plant or industrial setting.
• Strong commitment to safety for employees, contractors, and the public.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and calibrate instrumentation.
• Effective downtime reporting to regional management.
• Experience with basic industrial maintenance techniques.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Education as stated; vocational or engineering/physical sciences preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for business communication.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct daily plant and intake inspections.
• Start and stop generating units and auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and monitor security systems with logs.
• Operate heavy equipment and hand/power tools.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to improve plant reliability.
• Work on rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Assist in developing plant safety procedures and JSA procedures.
• Respond to calls to emergent plant issues.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors.
• Participate in safety programs.
