Job summary

MountainTrue seeks Crew Members for the River Clean-Up (Technical Team) in Weaverville, NC. The role is full-time, 32+ hours weekly, with a provision for overtime.

The team tackles wood piles and debris, using chainsaws and winches, across Western NC and Eastern TN, with a provided vehicle. Responsibilities include working safely, maintaining equipment, and adhering to regulatory requirements in demanding, outdoor environments near rivers.

Qualifications

• 18 Years of age or older.
• Experience with litter clean-ups is helpful, especially near rivers, boating experience is a plus.
• Experience operating chainsaws, winches, ropes and pulleys is desired.

Responsibilities

• Work safely with PPE and training to perform assigned tasks.
• Remove trash and debris by cutting into log jams and piles to access debris with chainsaws and cutting devices.
• Use winches and other tools to remove large items and ensure proper disposal.
