Job summary

Kaleida Health in Williamsville, NY is seeking a Critical Care Nurse for the MFS Emergency Room. This full-time role provides advanced nursing care, executes physician orders, and supports patients and families during acute health events. The successful applicant will hold NYS RN registration, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within required timeframes, with at least one year of acute care or EMS experience. Onsite shifts and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse is required at hire and must be maintained thereafter.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
• RN Critical Care experience preferred; Emergency Department experience valued.
• PALS and ACLS certifications required within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients' health problems and provide life-saving support and education.
• Execute medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician and ensure safety and quality care.
• Adhere to Kaleida Health policies and standards of practice and coordinate with the ER team.
