Rochester General Hospital is seeking an RIT co-op student to assist the Identity Access + Management team with setting up and securing access to systems containing sensitive information. This role operates in a hybrid environment and follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule as part of a full-time co-op starting January 2027.

Candidate should be enrolled at Rochester Institute of Technology for the duration of the co-op; background in IT, programming, analysis or testing of information systems

Work under the direct supervision of a professional with limited scope of responsibility; gain experiences directly related to course of study and career interests; participate in active engagement and meaningful activitiesEDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sedentary - Sedentary roles are primarily office-based and require prolonged sitting (67–100% of the workday) with minimal physical effort and lifting limited to under 10 lbs. Fine motor skills are necessary for computer work, writing, and telephone use, supported by clear visual and auditory ability. Cognitive and emotional demands are high due to extended concentration, frequent interruptions, independent decision-making, and information processing. Although physical exposure is low, administrative areas within healthcare environments may occasionally involve contact with infectious agents.
