Job summary

Kalshi seeks a Support/Risk Operations Analyst to own the risk ticket queue, handling cases at the intersection of fraud, KYC, and account security. You will operate in Intercom with Risk, Compliance, and Surveillance teams and must judgment-call complex issues while maintaining SLAs across 400+ tickets.

The role emphasizes clear user communication, decisive action, and collaboration to improve risk workflows in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in fraud operations, risk ops, AML/BSA compliance, KYC review, or a closely related function.
• Thick skin and high output: the queue is real, the volume is real, and the cases are hard.
• Familiarity with support tooling (Intercom, Zendesk) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and work through the risk ticket queue daily, covering account security, fraud, account restrictions, and KYC cases.
• Triage and prioritize cases based on urgency (ATOs and account security first; KYC last).
• Communicate clearly with users in high-stakes situations and uphold SLAs across a large queue.
• Collaborate with Risk to identify patterns, elevate edge cases, and close the feedback loop.
• Flag product/engineering issues surfaced in case reviews and document escalation paths.
