Kalshi, a leading US-based prediction markets exchange, is seeking an Operations Risk Analyst to help ensure market stability through post-trade processing and risk management. You will oversee daily trade and clearing operations, monitor risk exposure, and serve as a point of contact for participants and clearing members.

The role offers a collaborative, high-growth environment where you’ll work with engineering and risk teams on incident response, automated monitoring, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Familiarity with clearing processes and risk management best practices.
• 1–2 years experience in listed derivatives, repo, treasury, or OTC markets.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trade and clearing operations across Kalshi's markets, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Continuously monitor risk exposure, system performance, and controls; escalate with engineering and risk teams.
• Identify operational risks and contribute to automated monitoring and exception-handling systems.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analyses, and post-mortems for actionable outcomes and improvements.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve risk management processes and governance.
