Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Intern to gain hands-on exposure in enterprise risk management, governance, compliance, and strategic planning within a healthcare setting.

You will work with risk professionals and leaders to support risk reporting, research, data maintenance, and strategic initiatives, developing analytical, communication, and business skills under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full- or part-time student in a college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enterprise risk reporting and documentation.
• Research emerging risks and industry trends relevant to the healthcare sector.
• Maintain risk-related data and reporting tools.
• Assist with risk assessments and taxonomy development.
• Prepare presentations and executive-facing materials.
• Participate in strategic projects across Enterprise Risk & Governance.
• Engage in mentorship to strengthen analytical, research, and communication skills.

Education

Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program
