Job summary

Highmark Health Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Internship provides hands-on exposure to enterprise risk management, governance, compliance, and strategic planning in a healthcare setting. You will work with risk professionals to support reporting, risk assessments, taxonomy development, and strategic projects across ERM, governance, and information security.

Qualifications

Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues, clientele, and internal/external constituencies in planning assignments and resolving day-to-day problems.
Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services with guidance, training, and mentoring from senior personnel.
Undertake and participate in projects and programs to develop professional skills and expertise.
Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or proposals for action.
Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the operating unit.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
