Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or related field with 1 year of professional experience in safety, risk, or industrial relations.
• Knowledge of federal and state wage/hour standards, labor laws, and payroll practices; strong report writing.
• Ability to supervise professional, technical and clerical staff and manage a division-level program.

Responsibilities

• Conducts risk assessments by collecting and analyzing documents, statistics, reports, and trends.
• Develops policies and procedures to address risks across departments and services.
• Reviews risk policies and implements improvements; recommends insurance, safety and business continuity measures.
• Analyzes data like cash flow and inventory to identify potential fraudulent activity.
• Drafts and presents risk management reports to executive leadership and senior staff.
