Job summary

Gerald Group in Stamford, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join its Risk team on the trading floor. The role involves reconciling, analyzing, and reporting P&L and risk positions, requiring strong interpersonal skills to liaise with Traders and other departments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• 3 – 5 years of experience preferably in trading/commodity industry.
• Extremely accurate, detail oriented, and organized.
• Availability to work extended hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of Risk/Trading system P&L to trader’s P&L.
• Identifies and reconciles discrepancies that impact the P&L.
• Runs EOD revaluation processes.
