Job summary

Raytheon, located onsite in Andover, MA, is seeking a Risk & Opportunity Project Manager to support the Product Support portfolio within the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS). This role focuses on program PM practices, R&O advocacy, and collaboration with program teams to drive PM excellence.

The position requires leading risk analysis, engaging with partners, and travel up to ~10% for customer and program activities. You will operate onsite in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with program risk and opportunity (R&O) management process.
• Experience with project management fundamentals, including managing cost, schedule, and performance metrics across programmatic and technical workflows.
• Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Estimate at Complet es (EACs), and/or Integrated Master Plan or Schedule (IMP/IMS).
• The ability to obtain and maintain a government US Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and management of all program risk and opportunity (R&O) across multiple life cycle phase including Production and Sustainment.
• Execution of Risk & Opportunity (R&O) reporting and analysis.
• Perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results.
• Regular interface with internal partners across the Raytheon business.
• Engage in cross-functional partnerships within a team of matrixed program managers, Program Integrators (PIs), and Integrated product Team Leads (IPTLs).
• Ability to travel (international and domestic) for customer, company, and program related activities (approx. 10% of role)
