Job summary

Tilt is hiring a Risk Operations Transformation Lead to scale through better processes, tooling, analytics and automation. You will own a portfolio of programs from problem definition through implementation and measurement, coordinating with Risk Ops, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Vendor Management.

This remote-first role requires travel for offsites at least twice per year. You will drive operational improvements, define success metrics, and ensure readiness across teams while delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Risk Operations, Fraud Operations, Disputes, Credit Risk, Trust and Safety, Compliance Operations or related field.
• Experience leading operational improvements or transformation programs from problem definition through measurement.
• Strong understanding of risk queues, investigations, reviews and escalations.
• Strong analytical skills using operational data to identify trends and root causes.
• Able to turn ambiguity into clear plans with measurable results while managing multiple initiatives.
• Able to influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
• Clear written and verbal communication with frontline teams and senior leadership.
• Good judgment on operational risk, controls, prioritization and escalation.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking or regulated environments.
• Nice-to-have: BPO/distributed teams; change-management; writing BRDs; SQL/Looker/Tableau/Databricks; capacity models and SLA metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Risk Operations business owner for AI Enabled Operations, prioritizing automation opportunities by volume and impact.
• Define requirements, logic, controls and success measures for risk automation with Product and Engineering.
• Monitor adoption and outcomes post-launch and lead improvements when needed.
• Lead transformation programs to simplify processes, workflows, roles and handoffs.
• Identify work for tooling or outsourcing and define tooling improvements with Product/Engineering.
• Coordinate with Shared Services and Vendor Management on readiness, training and quality controls.
• Define metrics to show performance, capacity, quality and risk trends; drive improvements.
• Keep processes aligned with Compliance, Fraud Strategy and policy owners.
• In 90–180 days, build a prioritized portfolio and deliver initial improvements with measurable outcomes.
