Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a Risk Operations Support professional to protect and enhance company assets by performing a variety of risk management tasks in line with policy and regulations.

In this role you will review background check requests, assist with drug screen inquiries, manage DOT verifications, and provide departmental support including reporting and letters. Strong data entry, Excel/Word skills and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing or HR or related fields.
• Fast and accurate data entry.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with problem-solving ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review background check requests against client hiring criteria and notify branch staff of outcomes.
• Support offices with background checks and drug screen inquiries.
• Assist Director of Risk Operations with drug test results.
• Provide training on Risk Operations functions.
• Complete DOT verifications in a timely manner.
• Handle incoming calls to Risk Operations line and refer as needed.
• Update Risk Operations reports and Excel spreadsheets.
• Create and send Pre-adverse and adverse action letters.
• Provide clerical support and other administrative assistance.
• Complete other duties as assigned; multi-task in a busy environment.
