Job Description

Summary: Now seeking a full-time Risk Manager for our upcoming Leatherman Behavioral Health Care Pavilion!

Pay Grade: Health-31

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Work Shift: Varies

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality improvement activities within the Risk Management Department.
• Assess the quality of patient care and identify issues or adverse events.
• Conduct investigations, implement Root Cause Analysis, and report findings to the hospital QI Committee.
• Assist with chart audits, establish action plans, and investigate adverse event trends.
• Support physician peer evaluations and supervise volunteers and administrative staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/RN program.
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience; quality improvement experience preferred.
• RN License required.

About the Facility:

The Leatherman Behavioral Health Pavilion will serve as a regional behavioral health center with triage, crisis stabilization, telehealth, outpatient, and inpatient services. Located at the Cedar Tower campus in Florence, SC, opening October 2025.

• 16 adult and 4 adolescent crisis beds.
• Outpatient clinics for adults and children.
• 63-bed inpatient psychiatric unit.

Services include mental health, addiction, and therapy services.
