Job summary

Terra-Gen, a leading independent renewable energy company, seeks a Manager to join Corporate Risk Management in New York. The role reports to the Director of Risk Management and partners across the organization to enhance risk programs.

Responsibilities include renewals, claims management, certificates of insurance, contract reviews, and supporting financing activities. Travel is required occasionally, with a focus on staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; risk management designation preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in risk management role; 3-5 years preferred.
• 7–10 years underwriting or broker service experience may be considered equivalent.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Insurance renewals: manage underwriting information, review submissions, and advise on exposures.
• Liability claims management: assist with claims across policies; coordinate with Legal/HR/adjusters.
• Serve as central contact for Certificates of Insurance; manage issuance and renewal.
• Contract reviews: support Legal/Procurement by advising on insurance provisions.
• Construction financing: support related activities.
• Develop training materials for internal managers.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Stay current on risk management trends.
