Job summary

First Internet Bank of Indiana in Fishers, IN offers a paid Risk Internship designed to give students hands-on experience in risk management within a financial institution. As the Risk Intern you will be assigned to a risk-related area and contribute to identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risk.

You will receive training, work with teams, and complete onboarding objectives. The internship develops skills in data handling, regulatory concepts, and reporting, with formal onboarding

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, risk management, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, research, organization, data management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn the responsibilities and regulatory considerations of the assigned risk area.
• Assist with risk, compliance, fraud, or BSA/AML research and analysis.
• Support collection, review, validation, and maintenance of records and reports.
• Assist with monitoring, testing, investigations, and regulatory change support.
