Job summary

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Risk Management Services Associate to join our growing team. The role provides support across Claims, Loss Control, and Risk Analytics, assisting with claims administration, client reporting, data management, risk financing analysis, and loss control activities while collaborating with account teams to support client risk management programs.

The position emphasizes initiative, data handling, Power BI proficiency, and excellent communication to deliver insights

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial lines insurance, claims, loss control, and risk management.
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights.
• Experience with large datasets and basic data analysis.
• Collaborative work across Claims, Loss Control, Analytics, and account management.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Perform the business impact strategy directly with customers, one-on-one, while carrying out loss control and/or claim duties, exercising independent judgment in advising customers on how to improve their risk profile.
• Assist in reporting new losses to insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
• Support Claim Advocates with claim documentation, correspondence, file maintenance, data entry, and preparation of claim review materials.
• Assist the Analytics team with collecting, organizing, validating, and standardizing claims and risk management data received from multiple carriers, third-party administrators, account teams, and other sources.
• Support the development, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of recurring and ad hoc client dashboards, risk financing analyses, reports, presentations, and related analytics processes.
• Assist the Loss Control team with document management and data entry.
• Working knowledge of construction projects/builder risk.
• Learn OSHA regulations for general industry, loss control “best practices” and workers compensation programs is required
• The position requires the consultant to be initiative-taking and work well without close supervision. The individual must be able to make decisions with and without established guidelines and to provide technical support to customers, brokers, and underwriters
• The position requires excellent people skills (verbal and written) and provides a customer-focused approach.
