Job summary

One80 Intermediaries seeks a Loss Control Manager to lead loss-control and risk-management services for Trusts, Pools, and Associations, including school districts and public entities.

The role blends technical property/casualty expertise with leadership, public speaking, education, and client relationship management. Travel is regular, and you will develop programs, conduct evaluations, deliver trainings, analyze claims data, and report to boards.

Qualifications

• Experience in property and casualty loss control, risk management, or safety.
• Strong knowledge of commercial P&C loss control principles.
• Familiarity with property appraisal methods and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve loss-control programs for Trusts, Pools, and Associations.
• Conduct property and casualty loss-control evaluations across properties, operations, vehicles, and facilities.
• Design and deliver loss-control presentations and trainings for small groups to large conferences.
• Administer property appraisal systems using field data and electronic tools.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with member organizations as their risk-management resource.
• Prepare quarterly loss-control performance reports for boards and program managers.
• Manage department budget and collaborate with claims, underwriting, and program administration.
• Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned.
