Job summary

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Loss Control Manager to lead risk-management efforts and loss-control programs for Trusts, Pools, and Associations. The role involves field inspections, data analysis, and presenting findings to diverse audiences.

Applicants should have experience in property and casualty loss control, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel regularly. A relevant bachelors degree is preferred, and CPCU/ARM/CRM/CSP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in property and casualty loss control or risk management.
• Knowledge of property appraisal methods and data collection.
• Ability to conduct field inspections and develop practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve loss-control programs for Trusts, Pools, and Associations.
• Conduct property and casualty loss-control evaluations across exposures.
• Design and deliver loss-control presentations and training for varied audiences.
• Develop and administer property appraisal systems for members and school districts.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and prioritize initiatives.
• Build relationships with member organizations as risk-management resources.
• Prepare quarterly loss-control performance reports for boards and managers.
• Manage department budget and collaborate with claims, underwriting, and program administration.
• Lead special projects as assigned.
