Job summary

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Senior Claims Analyst to join our growing team. This remote, full-time role focuses on casualty and environmental liability claims, exposing you to litigation and regulatory considerations central to today’s insurance landscape.

You will investigate, analyze, and resolve complex claims, draft written positions, set reserves, and coordinate with management, carriers, and counsel. A BA/BS is required; JD preferred; 3–5 years’ relevant experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; JD preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience in liability or environmental claims or legal role.
• Strong verbal and writing skills with coverage analysis and drafting experience.
• Ability to review and evaluate technical, legal, and medical information.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Initiative, independence, and teamwork; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely coverage, liability, damage investigations, analysis and evaluations on complex casualty and environmental claims.
• Make coverage determinations and draft positions to insureds and other required parties.
• Investigate, analyze, evaluate, document, manage, report and execute strategies to bring early and cost-effective resolution to assigned claims; set reserves and manage litigation and counsel.
• Represent the company at meetings with management and carriers and at mediation and trial.
