Job summary

Marsh invites students to join its Risk Early Career Program as a Summer Intern for 2027. Based in Chicago, the program runs ten weeks starting in June 2027 and offers hands-on experience in risk management and insurance broking, working with senior advisors and brokers to help clients identify and manage risks.

The internship features a vibrant cohort, dedicated mentors, exposure to senior leaders, and a final capstone presentation. Successful juniors may receive a full-time offer.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or another STEM-related or Business-related major
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with people from different backgrounds and perspectives
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship now or in the future (US citizen or Green Card holder)

Responsibilities

• Assist with researching industry trends, market developments, and topics for client or team discussions
• Collaborate with brokers and team members to support communication and coordination with clients and internal partners
• Support day-to-day projects and assignments while developing knowledge of insurance markets, client service, and risk management
• Participate in team meetings, client discussions, and other learning opportunities to gain exposure to the insurance broking process
• Contribute to special projects and team initiatives throughout the internship
