Marsh offers a Summer Intern position within the Risk Insurer Consulting Group (ICG) in New York, starting June 2027. This 10-week program blends in-office and remote work, with mentorship, leadership exposure, and a capstone presentation at the end of the internship.

Interns work alongside senior advisors and brokers to identify risks for clients and gain hands-on experience in risk management and insurance broking. Exceptional juniors may receive a full-time offer.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or another Business-related major.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills to collaborate across teams and drive data-informed decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships across backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships and develop understanding of ICG's business throughout Marsh and with insurance carriers.
• Develop fluency in company, carrier products, and operations to enhance work quality.
• Conduct research and analysis on client businesses, industry trends, and market developments.
• Collaborate with brokers and teams to support communication with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
• Support day-to-day projects while building knowledge of insurance markets, client service, and risk management.
• Participate in team meetings, client discussions, and learning opportunities to gain exposure to insurance broking.
• Contribute to special projects and team initiatives throughout the internship.
