Job summary

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) seeks a risk management technician to provide routine administrative and paraprofessional support across liability, safety, and health programs in Jefferson City.

Both entry-level and senior levels are available under a CAREER-LADDER path, allowing advancement without traditional interviews. Duties include maintaining medical files, liaising with staff and contractors, processing invoices, and updating stakeholders on testing status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining medical files and web-based database for employee medical and drug and alcohol testing files.
• Acting as a liaison between the department, employees, and contractors regarding fit for duty and drug and alcohol testing.
• Process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
• Providing status updates to the department, contractors, and current/future employees on the status of employment/testing.
