Job summary

BNY is launching its 2027 Analyst Program in Risk and Compliance to develop early careers through a 24-month rotation across key risk areas. Analysts will gain practical experience applying governance frameworks, policies, and oversight practices while collaborating with global teams.

The program emphasizes hands-on project work, formal mentorship, and cross-practice exposure to build professional acumen and contribute to responsible business decisions.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

• Support risk and compliance activities by helping teams apply frameworks, policies, and oversight practices across the firm.
• Analyze information, identify trends, and assess how risks are being managed across businesses, processes, and functions.
• Assist with reviews, reporting, and documentation that support governance, monitoring, and compliance efforts.
• Gain exposure to key risk areas such as credit, market, liquidity, operational, technology, compliance, model, and enterprise risk.
