EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a detail-focused Customer Service Specialist in Amarillo, TX. This entry-level role handles intake, processing and review of injury reports and medical bills, delivering top-notch client support with accuracy and urgency.

The ideal candidate has strong administrative and communication skills, is a self-starter, and can work both independently and in a team. In-office position with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a fast-paced administrative role.
• Experience with Worker’s’ Compensation claims or billing is highly preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver timely results.

Responsibilities

• Receive, set up and track injury reports in internal Claim System.
• Review medical bills for accuracy and process them for bill review or negotiation.
• Communicate with clients via email and phone about claims submissions, bills, and reimbursements.
• Interface with insurance carrier and third-party administrator claims adjusters and vendors.
• Process physical mail into the internal system and handle data related to Medicare eligibility.
