Riveron is seeking a Senior Associate in Risk Advisory to work with senior team members, assess ICFR design and operating effectiveness, develop remediation roadmaps, and perform ICFR risk assessments.

You will gain understanding of client objectives, assist with SOX compliance, identify control gaps, and communicate with clients, delivering presentations to leadership. This evergreen role requires travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field.
• CPA/CIA/CISA preferred certification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in external audit or risk advisory roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SOX, COSO framework and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Strong client relationship development and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Understand clients’ objectives and regulatory/risk management context.
• Assist projects in Sarbanes‑Oxley Compliance/Internal Controls.
• Conduct ICFR risk assessments focusing on misstatement and fraud risks.
• Evaluate internal controls design adequacy for financial, operational, and compliance risk.
• Identify gaps and design remediation roadmaps to close gaps.
• Create internal controls process flows and risk/control matrices.
• Maintain technical competency per COSO/COBIT/auditing standards.
• Set priorities and coordinate among project team; monitor progress.
• Communicate with clients to manage expectations and report status.
• Deliver presentations to leadership with recommendations and issues.
• Stay updated on emerging risk areas and industry contacts.
• Build long-term client relationships.
