Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP, is seeking a senior risk advisory leader in El Segundo, CA. You will drive client service excellence, strategic direction and profitable growth across risk advisory engagements for diverse industries.

Lead a team, develop business plans, build client relationships and pursue new opportunities while ensuring rigorous internal controls, ERM and SOX compliance. Expect travel as needed for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems or related field.
• CPA, CIA or equivalent designation required.
• 12+ years in risk advisory, internal/external audit, or related areas; tech/real estate/healthcare preferred.
• 7+ years supervisory experience with mentoring and coaching.
• Track record building and growing a Risk Advisory practice.
• Proven new business development capability and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and strategic direction with focus on client service and growth.
• Translate firm vision into actionable business plans and objectives.
• Partner with marketing to develop sales plans and pursue new clients and proposals.
• Coordinate firm resources to deliver best products and services to clients.
• Ensure training, development, feedback and recognition for team members.
• Oversee profitability including utilization and fee realization.
• Collaborate with client executives to identify and manage risks including technology risks.
• Develop deep knowledge of clients’ businesses through direct engagement.
• Provide strategic advisory on process improvements and risk controls.
• Manage enterprise risk, ERM and SOX compliance across engagements.
• Review client processes against frameworks; communicate gaps and recommendations.
• Lead new business development and win risk advisory opportunities.
• Produce executive summaries and final reports per audit standards.
• Act as trusted advisor and present to internal/external stakeholders.
• Lead professional presentations to diverse audiences.
