Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Operations Supervisor to oversee daily front-end and pharmacy activities and support the Store Manager in achieving company goals.

You will lead a team, hire and train staff, manage performance, and ensure compliance, safety, and exceptional customer service. This role requires flexible scheduling and readiness to advance to Store Manager as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, or completed Walgreens Community Internship Program, or High School Diploma/GED with two years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities that include professional business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills and strong business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials training within 12 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Supervises front-end and pharmacy operations to support Store Manager and achieve store deliverables.
• Leads recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline for direct reports.
• Provides coaching, training and development plans to improve customer experience and service metrics.
• Controls store cash handling and bookkeeping aspects.
• Ensures compliance with policies, laws, and safety guidelines.
• Manages scheduling, shifts, and coverage.
