Job summary

In this role you may assume store supervision in the manager's absence, supervise staff, monitor inventory and sales metrics, and uphold all company policies.

Qualifications

• Retail or footwear/apparel experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to handle important tasks.
• Team player with a passion for outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with store operations, merchandising, and administrative duties.
• Contribute to action plans for departmental and overall store performance.
• Assume store supervision in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain high-quality customer service as outlined in manuals.
• Perform general administrative duties and support Store Manager responsibilities.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and standards.
