Job summary

As a Manager in Training, you will be trained in Store Manager responsibilities and act as an ambassador for Hibbett I City Gear, delivering exceptional service and growing the customer base during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Be aware of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Guide staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain high-quality customer service per the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls and reporting potential fraud.
