You will recruit, hire, and develop team members, manage scheduling and performance, and partner with the Store Manager and District Manager to deliver company goals. The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with solid academic record or completed Walgreens Community Internship Program or High School Diploma/GED with two years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication skills and business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of start date.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate for promotion.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens assets within the same area.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team, recruit, hire, coach, and discipline direct reports.
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and cash management.
• Improve customer experience and store profitability.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy and external partners for community outreach.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive action plans.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Provide training and development through LEAP program.
