Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to supervise customer service associates and the front end of the store, while guiding overall operations in Pharmacy and Retail. You will support the Store Manager, delegate shifts, and ensure merchandising, asset protection and profitability are optimized.

You will lead recruiting, coaching, and performance management to build a capable team, drive customer experience metrics, and coordinate with external partners and leadership to achieve company goals

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with solid academic record or Walgreens Community Internship Program or High School Diploma/GED with 2 years supervisory experience.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, professional ethics, motivation and strong communication.
Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends; potential relocation for promotion.

Responsibilities

Lead customer service and store operations to meet company goals.
Supervise store team including recruiting, hiring, performance management and discipline.
Monitor customer service metrics and coach team to improve loyalty and satisfaction.
Oversee front end and pharmacy operations, inventory, cash handling and security controls.
Coordinate with Store Manager and District Manager to implement plans and drive sales growth.
