Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced store operations leader to supervise front-end teams and the pharmacy/retail store. You will recruit, coach, and manage performance, while ensuring profitable operations and strong customer service standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, leadership experience, and readiness for LEAP/Leadership Essentials training. Flexibility for extended hours and potential promotion to Store Manager is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, or Walgreens Community Internship Program; or HS Diploma/GED with two years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong ethics, motivation, and communication skills.
• Completion of Store Manager training (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks for ESM roles.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept Store Manager promotion, which could require relocation within the same area.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises store front-end operations and customer service teams.
• Manages scheduling, time records, and shifts to ensure proper coverage.
• Leads recruitment, performance management, and discipline for direct reports.
• Analyzes operations data and collaborates with Store Manager on store improvements.
• Ensures compliance with policies, security, and applicable laws.
