Job summary

Upland Mechanical, Inc. in the eastern United States is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Construction (Mechanical). The role supports the Project Manager and project team across commercial construction projects to ensure on-time, within-budget completion with safety emphasis.

Responsibilities include document control, scheduling, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors. Previous CM/ME experience preferred; strong communication and organizational skills required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years related construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or mechanical engineering required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in driving project flow from inception to completion.
• Assist with project document control (insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders).
• Ensure documents are saved in project document control software.
• Support scheduling, billing, and field coordination as needed.
